Harrington's ED electric chain hoists are a truly unique hoist offering engineered for maximum operator comfort and control. The Harrington ED variable single speed model has Smart Speed Technology ability to increase factory set speed to a higher speed with a simple adjustment inside the hoist. These hoists can handle awkward loads by providing precise load positioning. ED Series has available dual speed, Infinity dual speed adjustable, and ergonomic dual adjustable speed. With a wide range of speeds, and single-phase power, make the Harrington ED Series hoists the perfect solution for many difficult product handling problems. All ED Series hoists may be lug mounted to our optional ET mini trolleys for easy and smooth hoist travel.

- HARRINGTON ED Series - Smart Speed Technology ability to increase factory set speed to a higher speed with a simple adjustment inside the hoist
- Capacities and Lifts - Rated loads from 250 lbs. to 1,000 lbs, with 10 foot standard lift. Other lifts available. For lifts through 10 ft., high impact plastic chain container is standard with each hoist. Standard pendant hangs approximately 3 ft. above the hoist's fully extended bottom hook.
- Motor - Heavy duty motor with .4 to .8 horsepower is above standard for industrial situations. The compact DC motor with rectifier for AC current reduces weight, generates less heat and maintains duty cycles
- Brake System - Double braking system provides protection with a Weston-style mechanical load brake and a regenerative brake.
- Frame Design - Compact design die-cast aluminum body is lightweight and low headroom to fit into tight areas. Easy to install, move, and store.
- Gearing - Heat treated gearing, deep-groove ball, and needle bearings are immersed in an oil bath resulting in smooth, quiet operation
- Safety - High performance friction clutch is integrated with the load brake, and designed to slip to prevent over-winding or overtravel.
