The ADB EZ-Torque 30,000 lb. Hoist Ring, part 23290, is a swivel hoist ring on a 2"-4-1/2 thread fitted with a jackbolt tensioner nut. It swivels 360° and pivots 180° under load and holds its full 30,000 lb. rating from 0° to 90° off the bolt axis.

Why EZ-Torque? A standard 30,000 lb. hoist ring has to be pulled to 1,100 ft-lb., which normally means locating and rigging a hydraulic torque multiplier. The jackbolt nut reaches the same clamp load at 23 ft-lb. per jackbolt, using an ordinary torque wrench. Jackbolts ship pre-lubricated: tighten crosswise, then in a circular pattern, to the value marked on the nut.
