The ADB EZ-Torque 24,000 lb. Hoist Ring, part 23494, is a swivel hoist ring on a 1-1/2"-6 thread fitted with a jackbolt tensioner nut. It swivels 360° and pivots 180° under load and holds its full 24,000 lb. rating from 0° to 90° off the bolt axis.

Why EZ-Torque? A standard 24,000 lb. hoist ring has to be pulled to 800 ft-lb., which normally means locating and rigging a hydraulic torque multiplier. The jackbolt nut reaches the same clamp load at 18 ft-lb. per jackbolt, using an ordinary torque wrench. Jackbolts ship pre-lubricated: tighten crosswise, then in a circular pattern, to the value marked on the nut.
