The ADB EZ-Torque 15,000 lb. Hoist Ring, part 23490, is a swivel hoist ring on a 1-1/4"-7 thread fitted with a jackbolt tensioner nut. It swivels 360° and pivots 180° under load and holds its full 15,000 lb. rating from 0° to 90° off the bolt axis.

Why EZ-Torque? A standard 15,000 lb. hoist ring has to be pulled to 470 ft-lb., which normally means locating and rigging a hydraulic torque multiplier. The jackbolt nut reaches the same clamp load at 10 ft-lb. per jackbolt, using an ordinary torque wrench. Jackbolts ship pre-lubricated: tighten crosswise, then in a circular pattern, to the value marked on the nut.
