Harrington's ED electric chain hoists are a truly unique hoist offering engineered for maximum operator comfort and control. The Harrington ED Dual Adjustable Speed cylinder control model is equipped with an In-Line Handgrip that permits one-handed operation and gives the operator a free hand to easily position the load. The Harrington ED has a removeable bottom hook this permits insertion of a variety of below-the-hook material handling devices. Easy touch rocker switch above handgrip allows quick selection between low and high speed control. Finger turn knobs allow custom setting of speeds from 0 - 100%. A High impact plastic chain container is standard with each hoist. These hoists can handle awkward loads by providing precise load positioning. ED Series has available dual speed, Infinity dual speed adjustable, and ergonomic dual adjustable speed. With a wide range of speeds, and single-phase power, make the Harrington ED Series hoists the perfect solution for many difficult product handling problems. All ED Series hoists may be lug mounted to our optional ET mini trolleys for easy and smooth hoist travel.

  • Capacities and Lifts - Rated loads from 125 lbs. to 525 lbs, with 6 foot standard lift. No additional lift available on DA hoists. Reach is 9 ft..
  • Motor - Heavy duty motor with .4 to .8 horsepower is above standard for industrial situations. The compact DC motor with rectifier for AC current reduces weight, generates less heat and maintains duty cycles
  • Brake System - Double braking system provides protection with a Weston-style mechanical load brake and a regenerative brake.
