The Conductix-Wampfler €™s 1500 Series Hazardous Duty Cable Reels are built according to NEMA 9 and UL standards: - Class I Div 1 Groups C, and D, Zones 0, 1, 2 - Class II Div 2 Groups E, F, and G but, do not bear any third party certification. The 1500 Series is sealed to NEMA 4 - water and dust-tight for indoor or outdoor use. These reels are also commonly referred to as €œexplosion-proof € or €œhazardous duty € reels. They are built with modular €œ1400 Series € components, coupled with a spark-proof ratchet, and hazardous location slip ring housing. Ideal for use at petroleum facilities, wastewater treatment plants, grain storage & handling silos, paint booths, underground mines, and chemical plants.
