Ace Industries manufactures and distributes a full line of industrial jib cranes as shown below. We also supply fittings for those interested in making their own wall bracket and wall cantilever jibs. We have jibs and components by CM, LiftTech, Yale, Gorbel, Spanco and others. Like our other products, there are no compromises. Heavy duty bearings provide smooth operation and long life. Optional bottom or top entry collectors provide trouble free electrification for 360 degree rotation. Motorized models are available. Standard models are available with capacities to 5 ton with spans to 20 feet with 20 feet under the boom. If you need greater capacities or special applications, our engineering department design exactly what you need.

We find that the foundation requirements for free standing jib cranes are often underestimated.  The proper installation of a jib crane can easily exceed the cost of the equipment. A poor installation on the correct foundation or structure can cause problems. Difficulty in movement and undesired rotation after release can be dangerous to plant personnel.   • Free Standing Jib Cranes


  • Wall Bracket Jib Cranes

    A wall bracket jib crane is one of the most popular jib crane types, and is usually the least expensive of the jib crane alternatives.  Application requirements for a wall bracket jib are that (1) there is a structurally sound wall or column to mount it on, and (2) there is sufficient clearance above the boom to accommodate the support rod that must be used.

    Wall bracket jib cranes have the following standard features:

    • 200 degrees maximum rotation
    • Bronze bushings and oil impregnated bronze thrust washers to provide easy rotation and superior load positioning.
    • Formed bracket fittings with no welds in tension and all bolts in double shear provide safety.
    • Engineered for use with powered hoists. A factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity is allowed for the hoist and trolley weight with an additional 25% of the capacity allowed for impact.
    • Single tie rod with right hand thread at both ends for easy adjustment and installation.
    • All connections bolted
    • Grease fittings for field lubrication
    • Powered rotation optional

    Wall bracket kits are for those who want to make their own wall bracket jib cranes.

    Buy your own I-beam locally, use these high quality brackets, and do your own assembly. The wall bracket kits consist of the top wall bracket, the bottom wall bracket, and the beam bracket. The two wall brackets have bronze thrust washers, bronze bushings, and grease fittings. The top wall bracket and the beam bracket include a tie rod clevis. Tie rod and other hardware is not included with the kit but may be ordered separately.

    Caution: Dimensions between brackets must be held to those shown in the charts and drawings. We cannot be responsible for incorrect installation or, any deviation from drawings and charts relating to capacity, span, or other matters.


  • Wall Cantilever Jib Cranes

    A wall cantilever jib crane is one of the most popular jib crane types, and is used when headroom is important requiring the jib boom to be located at the highest point possible to provide maximum lift for the installed hoist. Application requirements for a wall cantilever jib are that (1) there is a structurally sound wall or column to mount it on, and (2) there is sufficient clearance above the boom throughout its rotation arc.


  • Mast Type Jib Cranes

    The mast type jib crane is floor supported, top stabilized, and is capable of 360 degree rotation via a top and bottom bearing assembly.  The following three requirements must be met before considering a mast type jib crane:
    1. An adequate structural support to support the crane at the top of the mast must exist.  If the jib is installed underneath an overhead crane runway or building truss, then the deflection of the supporting member may not exceed 1/2 inch.
    2. Clearance overhead for the pivot assembly must exist.
      3. Clearance overhead for the boom to rotate must exist.


    Two available styles:
    1. MT400 Full Cantilever - provides for a maximum amount of lift where full use of available headroom is desired.
    2. MT450 Drop Cantilever - jib boom can be placed at a specific height to clear overhead obstructions.

    • 360 degrees rotation
    • Bronze bushings and oil impregnated bronze thrust washers to provide easy rotation and superior load positioning.
    • Mast/beam connections eliminate the need for tie rods or knee braces found on competitive designs, thus permitting maximum trolley travel.
    • Engineered for use with powered hoists. A factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity is allowed for the hoist and trolley weight with an additional 25% of the capacity allowed for impact.

    • Grease fittings for field lubrication
