Variable Frequency Drives

Electromotive Systems' IMPULSE Series 3 Crane Controls incorporate the latest in advanced control technology to maximize the performance and safety of your material handling system. Yet there's no need to learn complicated new programming. The Series 3 has been designed to mirror the programming of the IMPULSE Series 2 product line, making the move to series 3 an easy trasition.

Motors

Electromotive Systems Black Max motor meets the needs of more common crane applications. The modular design consists of a foot mounted NEMA motor, and a "C" face. The design feature shortens delivery time and can be furnished with variety of options, including encoders and brakes. Capable of 1000:1 speed range, this motor series is a perfect companion to Electromotive Systems Pre- Engineered Single Motion Crane Controls.

Braking Resistors

Magnetek Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) are used on many cranes, creating the need for a reliable, proven Dynamic Braking Resistors that can be delivered quickly, completely assembled, and ready for convenient installation at the job-site. Dynamic Braking Resistors are used with VFD’s to produce a braking torque in the motor during overhauling conditions. The dynamic braking resistor is connected across the DC bus and will see voltages as high as 800 volts.
